B/E Aerospace Night Shift Supervisor Job Description

To lead the shipping department team in the Miami facility in meeting customer shipping and delivery requirements.

Job Requirements:

1. Review daily shipment schedules, alerts team members of special customer delivery requirements.

2. Plans and prioritizes daily work schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.

3. Develop procedures to attain department objectives.

4. Reviews daily production while supervising and directing personnel in the department, schedules employees for overtime as required.

5. Anticipates and determines causes of delays of shipping schedules and reports occurrence to department manager(s).

6. Prepares and maintains employee records such as attendance, overtime, vacation requests, disciplinary recommendations, etc. Handles time clock updates for employee absences, etc.

7. Assists department manager with probationary and annual performance reviews of each employee and recommends performance increases, retraining, transfer, or termination.

8. Applies company policies with employees when dealing with employee issues.
