Search South Inc. Technical Service Representative / Chemist Job Description

Our client is a global leader in the chemical manufacturing industry. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Technical Service Representative opening in their North Alabama plant.

This person will provide technical support to customers and assist sales efforts to maintain and attract new business. Frequent customer visits will be required to include plant trials, service calls and lab support.

Requirements:

· A Bachelor’s degree is required. Prefer Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Paper Science or related degree.
· 3-5 years experience with trials or development work is essential.
· Ability to conduct physical and chemical tests, and to interpret analysis reports
· Paper Mill experience is strongly preferred
· Strong customer relations skills, personal credibility, and enthusiasm
· Excellent communicator (both verbally and written)
