Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Lead Material Handler. This position is responsible for operating distillation equipment for solvent recovery including performing quality control and for all setups, prep and associated transfers.

Responsibilities

* Operates and monitors process equipment
* Operates equipment at maximum throughput with product meeting specs
* Trouble-shoots operations problems and spot maintenance concerns
* Builds/breaks down setups for passes
* Performs QA tests on process streams
* Completes logbooks, environmental inspection records, batch summaries and other forms
* Washes equipment and readies equipment for next pass.
* Transfers solvents throughout the plant performing QA testing
* Performs housekeeping assignments
* Operates lift truck and Mustang (Bobcat)
* Class A Drivers License
* Experience with operating distillation equipment and quality control procedures/lab equipment much preferred, but not required
* Minimum qualifications include a dependable, detail-oriented individual with good writing, math & communication skills.
* Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends and holidays, but expect to work 3-5 years on nightshifts including weekends.
